SANTIAGO HOSTEL

We are an educational institution that was created first as a primary school (but is now a high school). It was started to help the people of Santiago Atitlan to cure their wounds as victims of internal violence through the creation of an education centre. Our centre now gathers students in different areas of study, and hosts a program for Business Administration studies for high school students.

This is a self sustainable project supported by numerous associations, helping students from humble areas to get a proper education and degree. In order to raise funds, we started Santiago Hostel as a way to offer affordable acommodation for backpackers in a nice and clean environment.
